Terrible Twos by The Design Kids & Desktop Magazine was an event to create a piece of artwork to raise money for a chosen charity (Kilimanjaro Young Girls In Need). 20 of Melbourne’s leading studios were paired with an emerging designer and given a compound word. Using the word ‘Hereafter’, Motherbird worked closely with Kasia Kurek to create a piece using MDF, vinyl and acrylic.

Brought to life in a digital collage, Elsewhere is a narrative where tangible elements are embellished in a dream like world. Newton’s laws are exaggerated and flaunted as the story unfolds.

Custom Typeface

Born as a custom typeface for a branding project and composed entirely of cross’s Kevin, is inspired by the geometry and consistency of cross-stitching.  Kevin is delicate yet courageous, classic with digital sub references.
